Yes, you’ll be covered for certain overseas medical expenses, including medical repatriation and access to international emergency cover, which will be made available to you 24/7.

Do kids really get free cover?

Sure! With World Nomads, dependents under the age of 21 get free cover, on condition that they’re accompanied by a parent or grandparent during the journey, and are unemployed at the time.

Is there an age limit when purchasing a World Nomad Travel Insurance policy?

Yes, the cover is only available to travellers under the age of 70.

Does the policy cover luggage?

Yes, you will be covered for delayed or lost luggage, as well as personal items such as travelling documents and electronic items.

Will I get cover for delayed or cancelled flights?

Yes, but only on condition that the delays or cancellations are caused by an unexpected circumstance such as extreme weather, sudden illness or unexpected death of a family member.

Will I be covered if my tour company goes under?

No, World Nomads does not cover expenses that are caused by an insolvent tour operator or accommodation provider.
