Woolworths Travel Insurance needs this kind of discussion because of their outstanding service. Well, at least for me. I went to South Korean three months ago, together with my dog. My dog usually travels with me because I see my dog as my partner. It was our first time in South Korea, so it was supposed to be a special moment for us. Something came up, and my flight to South Korea got delayed. The aircraft that we were supposed to be at needed to be further checked for its mechanical functionality. I called up Woolworths and informed them about what happened. They assured me with decent accommodation where I could stay. But I also told the insurance representative that I was traveling with my dog. He was quick to say that there would be pet care coverage for my dog because of the comprehensive insurance policy that I bought. It made me fill with joy. Hence I did this review for them...Read More

My younger brother and I traveled to the Maldives six months ago. We were having the time of our lives when my younger brother got involved with an accident; he had a slip. We rushed him to a hospital nearby where he got immediate treatment. However, we had to go back to Australia because he needed proper medical attention. I found it difficult to see him in such pain. Woolworths was very dependable. Apart from covering the amendment costs, Woolworths also approved the claims for the additional expenses. These were expenses on other accommodation and transportation that we incurred because my brother had an accident. We transported him to a hospital in Singapore, before we headed back to Australia, to see a more specialized doctor. Good thing also that I got him under my insurance policy. Everything was smooth. The insurance advisor also helped me with the process. Thanks to Woolworths for a hassle-free emergency case like this...Read More

I got hospitalized when I went to Bangkok early this year. It was supposed to be a fun and exciting trip as it was my first time to visit Bangkok. But, I experienced body malaise, and I got worried that I might have gotten some Southeast Asian disease. I had myself checked with a doctor at a local hospital in Bangkok. Instead of spending my money on the activities there, I spent it for medical and hospital expenses. Fortunately, Woolworths reimbursed all my expenses there during my hospitalization. The best thing about the insurance policy I got with them was I received a cash allowance after getting hospitalized for at least 48 hours. The hospital cash allowance helped me deal with miscellaneous expenses I had to consider. I love how comprehensive their travel insurance is at a very affordable or reasonable cost. I would recommend Woolworths to others who have a fear of traveling because something might happen...Read More

I canceled my Woolworths Travel Insurance policy ten days after I bought it. It was a rough week, and a series of unfortunate events happened in my life. I lost my job, I had to sell my car, and I had to reconsider my other expenses. I bought the Woolworths Travel Insurance policy because I initially planned to take a break from all the stress I got from work. Because of income loss and other personal financial concerns, I decided to cancel it. Fortunately, I ended it within the 14-day cooling-off period, which started from the day I bought it. I got a full refund since I still have not used it on any trip and that I haven’t claimed anything under this policy. I did not hesitate to contact them through their phone numbers, and gladly, one of the customer service representatives understood my case. I am so glad that they have this option to cancel within the cooling-off period without incurring any penalty...Read More

I lost something during my trip to the USA. My laptop got stolen from my apartment, where I stayed. I filed a police report and told them that I was not from the US. I went back to Australia and moved on from the incident. Two weeks after, a friend who introduced me to Woolworths Insurance told me that I should have filed a claim after hearing my story. I reached Woolworths, informed them about my possible application for a refund for the loss of the item during the trip, and filed a detailed incident report to them. Good thing that I was able to process the claim 30 days after my return to Australia and that I had the supporting documents with me. I continued with the claims processing, and they responded positively. The member of their claims team guided me through their process. I would recommend Woolworths to others too because I experienced good things with them...Read More

Woolworths gave me a reason not to hate red-eye flights. I was supposed to take a red-eye trip to Australia. I hate flying in the wee hours because it makes me cranky. When I was on my way to the airport, my workmates at the laboratory where I work called me for an emergency. I needed to go back to the laboratory to fix something. I was confident that I could cancel my flight anytime because of my travel insurance under Woolworths. However, I was not sure about them getting the phone call because it was past 12 in the midnight in Australia. They though told me upon purchase of the insurance policy that I could contact them 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Fortunately, I was able to contact them with their emergency assistance number. It did not matter what time it was to them, but their service was still consistently excellent. Though I was in India at that time, I was still able to reach them without hassle...Read More
