How many people can one policy cover?
Wise Traveller has policies available for single individuals, couples and families of 3, 4 and 5 individuals only.
Do kids get free cover?
Yes. Dependents under the age of 23 can be covered for free whether they’re biological or adopted children, on condition that they travel with a parent or grandparent, are currently in school and are not employed.
Will I be covered for my skiing trip and equipment?
No, unfortunately skiing is considered a high-risk sport and is not covered by Wise Traveller.
Will I still be covered if my tour company goes bankrupt?
No, Wise Traveller will not cover the insolvency of a tour operator, accommodation provider or travel agent.
Is there an age limit for purchasing any of the Wise Traveller policies?
The single trip policy does not have an age limit, whereas the multi-trip policy is only available for travellers under the age of 65 years.
Is the cover available to non-Australian residents?
Of course! Wise Traveller’s policies are available to travellers of all nationalities.
Are cruises covered?
Yes, and the best part is that the policy covers you from ship to shore, regardless of the destination or cruise carrier that you use.
