You can add up to 10 people on one policy.

How long does single-trip cover last for?

It lasts for 12 months.

Is there an age limit on any of the Kango Cover’s policies?

Yes, both the multi-trip and the single-trip policies are only available for travellers under the age of 69 years.

Are cruises covered?

Yes. Just make sure to pick ‘Pacific’ when selecting your destination, even if the ship will be setting sail on Australian waters.

Do kids really get free cover?

Yes, dependents under the age of 21 get free cover when accompanied by a parent or grandparent, on condition that they’re not employed at the time of the trip.

Is there a way to reduce or remove the excess on my policy?

No, unfortunately you cannot do either.

Are there any extras that I can look forward to in my policy?

Yes. For one, Kango Cover actually provides protection for high-risk winter sports such as off-piste skiing, heli-skiing, cat-skiing etc. Plus, you can increase your luggage cover for up to $750 per individual item.
