Bali truly is an Indonesian paradise and if you are heading there, not only will you be treated to the exotic island beaches, sun and surf, but when night falls, you will have an array of nightlife options. Whether you want to dance the night away and party hard, eat great food, or chill out, here are some of the coolest bars you should visit.
Single Fin – Uluwatu
The best bar by far to visit in Uluwatu is Single Fin. After a day of swimming and surfing, head to this bar to enjoy fantastic Indian Ocean views. Situated at the top of a cliff, it attracts a vibrant crowd and is popular for its live music nights. So, after sun is down, you may find yourself dancing the night away.
Alleycats – Kuta
Kuta boasts a number of popular bars and nightlife spots. First off, Alleycats offers cheap deals on Vodka Red Bulls and has a social atmosphere of young and lively tourists. Furthermore, their full English breakfast may be just the cure you need after a night in town. Alternatively, if it’s an all-night party you are looking for then Eikon is the place for you. Here, things only get started after midnight and the bar has a large bar and dancefloor as well as an upstairs terrace. The bar snacks are good and the bar has a great reputation for its music. Another great spot is Sky Bar, which is famous for its unlimited food and drink hours.
Although you may find yourself queuing at the bar due to its popularity, once you have your drinks there are multiple dance areas, or you can head for the rooftop to relax and take in the city lights below. Lastly, if you prefer the more laid back chillaxed vibe, then you should head to the Apache Reggae Bar. Paying tribute to Bob Marley, this bar is unpretentious and super chilled. You can turn up at any time and in anything, including your swimwear. It’s very popular with the surf crowd.
Potato Head Beach Club – Seminyak
If you find yourself in Seminyak then you should treat yourself to Potato Head Beach Club and tuck into their delicious food and cocktails. Enjoy the sunbeds and infinity pool and dance until the early hours of the morning. However, if you want a classier vibe, head to its neighbour down the road Ku De Ta. This venue is more elegant and has an evening dress code. Split over two levels of seating with a couple of bars, it’s a superb place from which you can enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Finally, La Favela is a must to enjoy a fantasy experience with its famous décor and twinkling lights. Their desserts and champagne cocktails are not to be missed.
Laughing Buddha – Ubud
You will find Laughing Buddha Bar in Ubud’s Sacred Monkey Forest for live gigs and funky music. Not only can you drink until late, you can eat until 1 AM. More exclusively, visit XL Shisha Lounge for their comfortable couches, red lighting, and aquarium for a lovely experience.
